Objectives
Allow the people of Birmingham to get close to the Championships taking place in their City.
Outcomes
We played our part in the “Best Indoor Championships ever”. President of European Athletics, Hansjörg Wirz.

Taking people on a journey of learning and discovery about all the things that are important to become an elite athlete – what they eat; what they wear; how they prepare.
Description
Over 5000 local people, including many primary school children, enjoyed an invigorating learning experience. Our four Zones had something unique for everyone; Nutrition & Hydration included the gory Body Composition display; Technology included Asics staggering Egg Drop game; Preparation demonstrated the power of sport psychology; Performance allowed people to perform like athletes.
Delivery by
The very best team from The TeamWorks working with excellent local coaches and committed student volunteers, all supported admirably by Birmingham City Council.
Venue
A giant purpose built marquee in Centenary Square; the City’s busiest public space.
